The Dubai FinTech Summit 2025 is set to return for its third edition on May 12–13, 2025, at Madinat Jumeirah, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and President of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). With the theme “FinTech for All,” this year’s event will spotlight the role of financial technology in promoting global inclusion and driving innovation.

The summit is expected to draw over 8,000 participants from more than 100 countries, featuring 300+ speakers, along with key investors, policymakers, and industry leaders. This large-scale event reflects Dubai’s ambitions, in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, to become one of the world’s top four global financial centers by 2033.

As the financial technology sector grows rapidly with projected revenues of $1.5 trillion by 2030, or about 7% of the total financial industry Dubai aims to lead in key areas such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and digital banking. The summit will tackle critical issues including regulatory evolution, sustainable innovation, and the transformation of global financial services.

Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, highlighted the summit as a platform for FinTech, AI, and digital firms to connect with the Middle East’s dynamic economy. He stressed DIFC’s commitment to nurturing a collaborative, innovation-focused environment for future-ready financial solutions.

A major part of the summit will be the exhibition zone, featuring 200+ exhibitors presenting the latest in financial technology. For the first time, the Future Sustainability Forum will run alongside the summit, reinforcing the importance of responsible and inclusive finance.

Distinguished speakers at the event will include Marko Primorac, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Croatia; Gilles Roth, Luxembourg’s Finance Minister; Timothy Adams, CEO of the Institute of International Finance (USA); Tony Elumelu, Chairman of UBA and Founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation (Nigeria); and Vijay Shekhar Sharma, CEO of Paytm (India).

Additional highlights will include dedicated startup and country pavilions, as well as the FinTech World Cup, which offers a platform for promising startups to attract funding and mentorship.

Key sponsors include Emirates NBD, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Relm Insurance, Presight, Pay10, Alibaba Cloud, Seoul FinTech Lab, and Business Sweden.

The Dubai FinTech Summit 2025 is set to be a cornerstone event for the global FinTech community, bringing together thought leaders, investors, and innovators to shape the next chapter of financial advancement from the heart of Dubai.
